Coquina Beach
The northern end of Coquina Beach is a secluded get-away from the crowded beaches of Nags Head, Kill Devil Hills and Kitty Hawk. Since the early 1990s a group of local gays and lesbians have congregated here every Sunday during the summer months. Look for the wind turbine and the sign for “The Sand Castle”. (link)
